Internship – Software Developer Angular / Mapbox GL JS

The platform ingests and structures very large amounts of field data into a single source of truth, which makes it possible to develop predictive models for industrial infrastructures. It optimizes the entire life cycle of an operation, simplifies risk management and provides real-time information on these infrastructures.

Your Missions

Alteia already has within an Angular framework, a web mapping tool based on Open Layers technology and wishes to evaluate another technical mapping solution. The objective is to develop a web mapping HMI with the Mapbox GL JS tool. This HMI will be used for the visualization of raster data from photogrammetry and various raster and vector results with high added value. Interaction with this map data will also be an integral part of the development in order to manipulate annotations to highlight certain elements of the datasets.

Within our Toulouse offices, the missions of the web development intern will be as follows:

  • Exploration of the Mapbox GL JS library.
  • Design and development of new modules.
  • Management and manipulation of Mapbox styles.
  • Creation of an iso functional proof of concept in relation to the solution in place.

Your profile

Bac + 3 to Bac + 5 level student with knowledge in the following areas:

  • Web development.
  • Frontend: Angular, typescript, Material design, Nx.
  • Environment: Git, Linux.
  • Welcome experience with 2D visualization libraries: OpenLayers, Leaflet or Mapbox.
  • GIS knowledge desirable.
