The terms of use bind visitors, whether regular or occasional, (the “Users”) as to the rules of proper conduct of the Alteia.com site (the “Site”) belonging to the Alteia company (the “Publisher”).

1. Site access

The Site is freely and openly accessible at www.alteia.com. The Site is designed in HTML5 and CSS3 languages, for a better comfort of use and a more pleasant graphic design. The use of modern browsers such as Safari, Firefox, Chrome is recommended.

2. Content of the Site

The Site offers all Users the opportunity to find out about the activities and news of the Alteia company that publishes it. The Publisher uses all means at its disposal to provide reliable information and to regularly update the Site. All information remains provided as is. Nevertheless, the Publisher in no way guarantees the absence of errors, omissions and inaccuracies on the Site. In the presence of the latter, the User is invited to report them to the Publisher (notably by e-mail at contact@alteia.com). The Publisher reserves the right to modify the information and the layout of the Site at any time.

3. Data collection and cookie policy

The Site complies with current legislation on the protection of personal data and privacy. The conditions under which the Publisher may process the personal data of Site Users and the terms of use of cookies are explained in the Privacy Policy.

4. Intellectual property

The trademarks, graphics, images, texts, videos, animations, sounds, logos, and any other element of content as well as their layout are the exclusive property of the Publisher, with the exception of trademarks, logos or content belonging to other partner companies or authors. All the information contained on the Site may be downloaded, reproduced and printed by the User for personal use, excluding any use for commercial purposes, without making any modification, specifying the date of update and reproducing on all copies the mention of the Publisher’s copyrights. Outside these cases, any reproduction, distribution, modification, adaptation, retransmission or publication, even partial, of these various elements is subject to the prior written consent of the Publisher. Any request for authorization or information is sent by e-mail to the following address: contact@alteia.com. Any unauthorized total or partial representation of the Site constitutes an infringement punishable under articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.

5. Hypertext links

The Site may provide links to other websites or other sources of information. The Publisher has no control over these external sources and declines all responsibility for navigation on these sources, on any grounds whatsoever. The User is responsible for obtaining information and complying with the conditions of use of the sites he or she consults. The insertion, on other websites, of links to the Site is subject to the prior written agreement of the Publisher. This authorization is at the discretion of the Publisher. For instance, the Publisher can impose that the display of the Site, via a hypertext link from an external site, takes place in a new browser window. The Publisher reserves the right to withdraw its authorization at any time and to require the removal of a link that it considers does not comply with the purpose of the Site. Failing authorization, any link may be considered as counterfeit.

6. Liability

The Publisher declines all responsibility claimed for the information published on the Site and for any inaccuracies, deficiencies or omissions. The information and images have no contractual value. The User is responsible for communicating his requests to the Publisher to obtain specific information or to ask the Publisher to confirm information published on the Site. Likewise, the Publisher cannot be held liable to third parties for the presentation of its products made by a User on the basis of information published on the Site. The User is responsible for his computer equipment, his antivirus protection, his connection and his Internet navigation. Downloads made by the User are his sole responsibility. The Publisher cannot be held responsible for the misuse of the Site or maintenance of the computer tool by the User (e.g. loss of data, computer attack, virus). As a rule, the display and content of the Site is at the discretion of the Publisher, whose responsibility cannot be sought in the event of such modifications. Any external element disturbing the display of the Site cannot be more charged to the Publisher.

7. Litigation

The present Terms of Use are governed by French law.  Any dispute and any litigation that may arise from the interpretation or execution of the terms of use are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts where the registered office of the Publisher is located.

8. Applicable version

The terms of use can be modified at any time by the Publisher. The version of the terms of use that is enforceable is the one displayed on the Site (here) on the day of the request, challenge or summons made by the User or the Publisher. The Publisher provides the following English version of the terms of use for informative purposes. In case of discrepancies in translation, the French version of these terms shall prevail.
